We are seeking an Accountant to manage the accounting and reporting for multiple clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic consulting environment, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to make a tangible impact on growing companies. While primarily remote, this position requires that candidates be located on the East Coast and be available for occasional client visits as needed.
• Month-End Close & Accounting
• Lead monthly close processes across multiple client accounts
• Prepare, record, and reconcile recurring and client-specific transactions
• Manage accounts payable, cash reporting, and bank reconciliations
• Maintain and optimize clients’ charts of accounts
• Reporting & Analysis
• Deliver monthly reporting packages including financial statements and
variance analyses
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and expense tracking
• Provide insightful commentary on actual vs. budget performance
• Process Improvement & Technology
• Identify and implement process efficiencies to improve client reporting
• Leverage financial systems (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) for automation
and scalability
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience; exposure to FP&A a strong plus
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite, plus Excel/Google Sheets
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables
• Self-starter mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Exposure to a wide variety of industries and business models
