Bill Cushman is an accomplished and results-driven leader with extensive experience developing and executing financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives to drive profitability and growth in diverse industries.  He has a proven track record of success overseeing financial forecasting, budgeting and reporting processes to ensure accurate financial performance tracking and timely decision making.  Bill also has expertise in mergers and acquisitions with experience in due diligence, financial modeling, and post-acquisition integration.

Before joining TriPoint Advisors, Bill served as Vice President of Finance at Nassau Financial Group for seven years, where he led the financial planning and analysis team and capital management.    Over the preceding 22 years, Bill directed financial reporting teams in preparing statutory and GAAP financial statements, consolidations, and SEC reporting at Universal American Corp. and Allmerica Financial Corporation. Additionally, Bill spent eight years in public accounting with Price Waterhouse and DiSanto, Bertoline & Co.

Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Connecticut, a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.

 

In his free time, Bill enjoys gardening with his wife, Lisa, as well as cycling and playing golf. Together, Bill and Lisa have three sons—Spencer, Sam, and Alex—and two granddaughters, Natalie and Lily.
